RESPIRATORY SYSTEM!

The respiratory system is responsible for breathing. It transfers oxygen into the blood stream and removes carbon dioxide. It includes the lungs, larynx, and airways.

Parts of the Respiratory System:

- Frontal Sinus   - Nasal Conchae

- Sphenoidal Sinus - Nasal Cavity

- Nose                - Larynx

-Trachea             -Bronchus

-Bronchioles        - Left Lung

-Pharynx           -Alveoli

- Right Lung      - Diaphragm

The three major parts of the respiratory system all work together to carry out their task. The airways (nose, mouth, pharynx, larynx etc.) allow air to enter the body and into the lungs. The lungs work to pass oxygen into the body, whilst removing carbon dioxide from the body.
